Awhile back, I ran out of beard product. My last tin of balm or jar of oil was empty and I found myself back at the store to buy more. Like so many times before, I couldn’t find or couldn’t remember the specific product I had last used. Facing the dreaded ‘Beard Itch’ as my whiskers dried out and frizzed away from my face, I was forced to ‘face’ the facts. My beard care is too important to leave to chance and commerce. I wanted an all-around better and more consistent product.

So, I set about doing the research. Learning about skin and hair moisture, oils, waxes, bases, and fragrances. With my Wife’s support, I began building a product of my own that I could not only use but stand behind. And that is what I have done

Guerrilla Care products are all natural, organic and handmade. Products that I proudly use daily.  Products that meet my high standards of quality, expectation of low cost, and a real person standing behind it all.

As I perfected each recipe and each product to my exacting criteria, I sought opinions other than my own. Testing EXCLUSIVELY on animals, I shared my creations with all my amazing friends and family. In truth, anyone I could find with a mustache, beard, skin, hair or hands became a target. And all of them were eager and excited to help me grow my idea. (THANK YOU ALL!)

The response to each item has been overwhelming. I am humbled by the appreciation and enthusiasm for what I have made.

And then people wanted to buy it. It was at that point that I realized I had a business on my hands. Thrilling though that idea may be, I was terrified and totally unprepared. But, equal to the challenge. Willing to brave the bureaucracy and tedium of business for a product that I TRULY believe in.  So….

With faith, support and insurgent flair, I began Guerrilla Care.
